Methodist Children's Home Society is a licensed private, non-sectarian child placing agency, as well as a 501c3 non-profit. MCHS helps some of Michigan's most fragile children find safety, hope, love and comfort. Through our residential program, educational & clinical services, transitional living, foster care and adoption programs, we provide for and advocate on behalf of victims of child abuse and neglect. Methodist Children's Home Society houses and cares for boys and young men, finds safe havens and forever families for children in Southeast Michigan through foster care and adoption, and helps youth age out of foster care and become healthy young adults.

To meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the children in our care, develop personal, family and community relationships that will contribute to healthy opportunities for the children to reach their fullest potential, and to advocate on behalf of all children.

For Methodist Children's Home Society to be the premier treatment facility in southeast Michigan, providing the best care to children and families, whether in Residential Care, Foster Care or Adoption Services.
