In 2014, the Children's Village at MCHS had 75 boys cycle through. These boys have been removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect, and they receive trauma informed treatment at our facility. There are around 40 boys who live on campus at any given time, because some boys do not stay for a long period of time. The boys in the residential program range in age from 7-17.
Methodist Children's Home Society recruits and trains foster parents and places children who have been removed from their homes due to abuse and neglect with their new foster families.
Foster children served my MCHS range from 0-19, and are both girls and boys.
